The Washington Nationals will task Foster Griffin once again to be the stopper for this team after a 3-game slide against the Marlins. The Nats are in Arizona for the weekend to face the Diamondbacks.

With just 99-games remaining in the regular season, the Nats have to win this game to get back to .500. This trip to Arizona is part of a quick 6-game West Coast swing that will take the Nats to San Francisco next.

After a much-needed day-off yesterday, the Nationals bullpen all got to rest. Here is the usage chart for manager Blake Butera‘s bullpen:

The FanGraphs WAR chart is accumulating data. The numbers are getting very large as the season is headed towards the halfway point on June 24. The OAA defense stat is now giving us a picture of what the Nats have — and don’t have.
