Game #101 Nationals are in Colorado in hot weather!

The Washington Nationals took a happy flight to Denver, Colorado last night and arrived at 8:34PM MDT to get used to that mile-high air before their game tonight. In prior year, we have those visions of the past series of freezing cold weather in Colorado, and tonight will be warm. The ball should be flying.
The Nationals will have lefty Andrew Alvarez on the mound, and the Rockies have lefty Kyle Freeland on the mound. Manager Blake Butera will add some righty bats to his lineup.

On offense, the Nats have the 1st in MLB for the most runs scored this season at 545 runs, and that is an impressive 5.45 runs per game. With the Nats pitching giving up 4.82 earned runs per game, the difference is really those pesky unearned runs due to the errors. Overall, the Nats have a +15 run differential on the season.
The FanGraphs WAR chart is now large in its sample size. You can certainly start to extrapolate the numbers for the full-season. The OAA defense stat is now giving us a picture of what the Nats have — and don’t have.
