The Rochester Red Wings (1-1) and the Memphis Redbirds (1-1) will meet in Game 3 of the Triple-A International League Championship Series. The victor punches their ticket directly to the Triple-A National Championship Game at Las Vegas Ballpark on Saturday, September 26.
Last night’s victory by Memphis gave them momentum — but as they say, today is a new day. The Red Wings’ most recent league title came in 1997 when they defeated Columbus in five games to capture their record 10th Governors’ Cup.
