The Washington Nationals will have just 100 games remaining after tonight. The season is flying along, and nearly 40 percent complete in the regular season. The MLB Draft is just 39 days away, and instead of that being the main topic of discussion, it’s being a contender that the players want to discuss.

Certainly the Nats can help their cause by winning tonight and getting even in this series against the Miami Marlins after the Nats blew a 3-1 lead to lose in a laugher.

Today is Lou Gehrig Day as MLB brings awareness to ALS. Teams will supply player with special wristbands if they choose to wear.

The Nats bulk starter today is Miles Mikolas. The Marlins are either going with a bullpen game or an opener.

With the Nats offense leading baseball in runs scored, the Nats Big-5 has become the Big-6. The L.A.W.Y.R.’s of Lile, Abrams, Wood, Young, Ruiz and Mead have a combined +9.0. And recently, Young, Ruiz, and Mead have all passed Lile in WAR with Wood at the top.
