The Washington Nationals pulled off the improbable win last night with the first comeback win in a 9th inning this season in a dramatic 3-run inning to win 4-3 in San Francisco.

Washington is going with lefty Andrew Alvarez and San Francisco has right-hander Adrian Houser for this second game of the series. The Nats look to win this one and guarantee themselves a series win.

The Nats had to use four relievers last night which included Richard Lovelady as the opener. In addition, Mitchell Parker, Clayton Beeter, and Gus Varland pitched in the game. Here is Butera’s bullpen chart:

The FanGraphs WAR chart is accumulating data. The numbers are getting very large as the season is headed towards the halfway point on June 24. The OAA defense stat is now giving us a picture of what the Nats have — and don’t have.
